The team treasury has been stolen from the Werder Bremen pros. “Yes, the team fund went away a few months ago. We don’t know where it went,” Werder’s head of professional football Clemens Fritz told the portal dyke room: “That annoyed us all quite a bit and also caused some unrest at the time.”
According to the report, a sum in the lower five-digit range was lost from the crew cabin during the incident. “Of course we talked about it in detail and also called the police, but without result,” said Fritz.
Normally, access to the cabin is denied to the crew and the closest circle of employees. But there are days when there are more people in the cabin. The consequence of the incident was “be even more careful,” said Fritz. Werder have “restricted access even more”.
