Borussia Dortmund will have a new captain next season. Marco Reus gave up the post this summer. According to the sports picture this thought grew during his Ibiza vacation, Reus no longer wanted to serve as a scapegoat after defeats and explain himself to the cameras after every game.

After his vacation, the 34-year-old asked to speak to sporting director Sebastian Kehl and coach Edin Terzic and informed the sporting management duo of his decision to focus more on football.
