Serge Gnabry had to be replaced at the break in FC Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga game against VfL Wolfsburg. Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann revealed this after the game.
“He already had a bit of problems with his adductors this week. It got a bit worse in the first half. He couldn’t really sprint. That’s why we reacted early on so that nothing happened, muscularly,” Nagelsmann said at the press conference the 2-0 win.
Leroy Sané came on for the ailing Gnabry at the beginning of the second 45 minutes.
Nagelsmann also explained that Joshua Zirkzee was missing from the squad due to illness.
There have recently been rumors of a change about the Dutchman. Noisy sky VfB Stuttgart in particular should be interested in signing the attacker if Sasa Kalajdzic leaves the Swabians. PSV Eindhoven is also loud Eindhoven’s Dagblad to the group of interested parties.
