The hottest transfer rumors about BVB

Which players are on Borussia Dortmund’s wish list? Which stars could leave BVB in winter – and how would that be reacted to? Before the winter transfer window, SPOX looks at the transfer rumors of the black and yellow.

After a disappointing first half of the season, Borussia Dortmund is only sixth in the table under Edin Terzic – that absolutely does not meet the expectations of those responsible for Borussia.

The situation surrounding Sebastien Haller, who suffers from testicular cancer, is particularly difficult for BVB. But there could also be players leaving the club in winter who would have to be replaced.

The winter transfer window opens on January 1, 2023 and runs through January 31. During this time, BVB could strike again and strengthen its squad – or lose important regular players. We look at the hottest rumors about the black and yellow.

Donyell Paint

Could the story of the 30 million man at BVB soon be interrupted? Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Sevilla FC are interested in the Dutchman. Accordingly, the Spaniards are dissatisfied with their loan from Kasper Dolberg and would like to borrow Donyell Malen from BVB after the end. Whether Borussia Dortmund can also imagine loaning the striker remains to be seen.

His one and a half years in Dortmund have been rather unsatisfactory. “Donny knows what I want to see from him. He has to get on the scoreboard more often,” coach Edin Terzic recently made demands on the Dutchman. In 55 appearances for Borussia, Malen scored just ten goals and provided nine assists. In the current season he has only scored in the DFB Cup. In 15 appearances in the league and the Champions League he only had two assists.

Jude Bellingham

Those interested in Dortmund’s top talent Jude Bellingham are queuing. In concrete terms, the 19-year-old is said to be a desirable candidate at Real Madrid, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, Manchester United and Manchester City.

The most likely target should be England. Noisy sports picture Liverpool FC is said to be in advanced talks with Bellingham. Problem: BVB probably wants 150 million euros for the Englishman. However, the Reds and the owners of Fenway Sports Group are said to have agreed on a maximum transfer fee of 100 million. Sky Sports does not see the 150 million fixed – it could cost between 100 and 150 million. Maybe a chance for Jurgen Klopp.

Meanwhile, PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed his interest in Bellingham: “Everybody wants him!” He admitted. But you respect the contractual relationships and want to negotiate with BVB first.

Youssoufa Moukoko

Those interested in storm talent Youssoufa Moukoko look similar to Bellingham. Five top international teams including Real Madrid, Liverpool FC and Manchester United. But Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have also been linked to Moukoko.

Noisy sports picture FCB is said to have refrained from a Moukoko obligation. In any case, the BVB homegrown would “really like to stay in Dortmund,” Moukoko told him RND.

It is important, however, that a corresponding perspective is shown to him. Once Sebastien Haller has recovered, Moukoko would be reluctant to end up on the bench. “I can’t develop without games,” he explained.

Mohamed Kudus (Ajax Amsterdam)

Apparently, Mohamed Kudus from Ajax Amsterdam is also on BVB’s wish list. In Dortmund you are right at the source: BVB youth coach Otto Addo is also responsible for Kudus as Ghana’s national coach.

But BVB has recently had well-known competition. Like the Dutch one telegraph reports, Liverpool FC has also entered the race for kudus.

Thomas Meunier

Dortmund’s right-back is said to have aroused great interest again at FC Barcelona. There were already numerous rumors in the summer that the Catalans would like to sign Meunier.

Now there are apparently five other applicants: Like them Mundo Deportivo reported that AC Milan, Juventus Turin, Manchester United and two clubs from London are also said to be interested in the Belgian.

Marcus Thuram & Ramy Bensebaini (Borussia Monchengladbach)

BVB is said to be interested in two players from the other Borussia from Mönchengladbach. Both would be available for free in the summer. The Spanish Relevo reported that Dortmund was also in the running for Marcus Thuram. sky reported that the Gladbachers are hoping for good World Cup performances by Thuram in order to sell him in the winter.

In addition, left-back Ramy Bensebaini is said to be back on the wish list after last summer. This time he could come on a free transfer. As the sports picture reported, Gladbach would be willing to sell Bensebaini in winter for around five million euros. At Thuram, the selling price is said to be ten million – as of before the World Cup.

Raphael Guerreiro

Raphael Guerreiro is in a similar situation to Bensebaini. The Portuguese is a left-back at BVB, but his contract is up. According to the French portal Jeunesfooteux West Ham United and Leeds United are said to be looking to lure Guerreiro into the Premier League.

It is quite possible that one business here requires the other. If Guerreiro goes to England, Dortmund gets serious about Bensebaini. If Guerreiro stays, a Bensebaini move before the summer could be unlikely.

Daichi Kamada & Jesper Lindstrom (Eintracht Frankfurt)

BVB is probably on to two offensive players from the Adlerträger from Frankfurt. Daichi Kamada has been linked with a winter move, has opposite sports1 however already cancelled. “I’m staying in Frankfurt this season.” However, a change in summer may be hot, since the Japanese would be free of charge.

Shortly before the top game between SGE and Borussia in October, it also came out that the Dane Jesper Lindström would be very happy to sign. The purchase price is 30 million euros. It is unclear whether BVB can again spend so much money on an offensive talent after Donyell Malen and Karim Adeyemi.

Christian Pulisic (Chelsea)

Another option for the wing position would be an old acquaintance. Christian Pulisic just can’t make the breakthrough at Chelsea. The Blues paid BVB rumored 64 million euros in 2019 for Pulisic. Now there should be a change.

the picture however, reported that a winter loan is not an option due to the high salary. A summer transfer seems hot for that. Chelsea want to sell the American on favorable terms.
