Jürgen Klopp has an unsurprising preference in the exciting Bundesliga title fight. “It’s probably no secret that I want BVB to be champions,” said the former Borussia Dortmund coach sports picture.
“Because what you experience then, you never forget: with the bowl around the Borsigplatz, that’s still one of the great highlights of my career. I’m so happy for the fans, club, coach and players this year.”
Being one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich two games before the end of the season is no obstacle for the Liverpool FC team manager. “I believe that the boys can do it!” he said. “The opportunity is so great, they will seize it. I’ll keep my fingers crossed in front of the Liverpool television. After eleven years, the bowl simply belongs back to Dortmund.”
Klopp led BVB to the championship title in 2011 and 2012, and since then FC Bayern has ruled nationally. In 2013, Klopp even brought Dortmund to the Champions League final – and lost to Bayern.
