Thomas Müller does not want to complain after being substituted too early in the Bundesliga game with Bayern Munich at Borussia Mönchengladbach (2: 3).
It was “not the time to cry” or “to complain,” wrote the national soccer player on Instagram.
After the early red card against defender Dayot Upamecano (8th), captain Müller was sacrificed by coach Julian Nagelsmann in the 16th minute for tactical reasons.
It was “not easy” for him personally, “but life is not a picnic,” wrote Müller, garnishing his post with the saying: “It’s not Christmas every day.”
Nagelsmann spoke of a “shitty decision”, but someone had to make it.
According to Müller (33), Bayern should “roll up our sleeves and show who we could be” after the second defeat of the season.
