Maria KeaneBayern Munich have signed the talented Matteo Perez Vinlöf from the youth department of Swedish first division club Hammarby IF. This was officially announced by the German record champions on Wednesday.
According to the press release, the 16-year-old junior national player has signed a “long-term contract” with Bayern Munich after convincing him in a trial session with FCB last year.
“With Matteo we have signed a very interesting and exciting player for our youth teams,” said Holger Seitz, sporting director of the FC Bayern Campus. “He convinced us with his appearances during the trial training session, among other things, and will strengthen our youth teams in the left-back position.”
After Hyun-ju Lee (18), who switched to the Isar from the South Korean first division club Pohang Steelers, and the Chinese youth keeper Liu Shaoziyang (18), Perez Vinlöf is the next new signing for the FCB youth team.
