Union Berlin has apparently found a successor for Max Kruse

Union Berlin has apparently found a successor to Max Kruse. This is reported by several media unanimously.

Accordingly, the Iron are facing a commitment from Sven Michel from second division SC Paderborn. As sky reports, the 31-year-old completes the obligatory medical check-up at 11 a.m.

The fee for Michel, who still has a contract with the SCP until 2023, is 1.5 million euros. With 14 goals and seven assists, he is currently the second-best scorer in the 2nd division, only Guido Burgstaller scored more often (15).

Michel had been associated with the capital club several times in the recent past. He is to replace Kruse, who has returned to VfL Wolfsburg.

The wolves reportedly paid five million euros for the former national player, whose contract would have expired at the end of the season.
