There are six PCR tests per week that cost 70 euros each. That would be 420 euros per week and thus over 1,600 euros per month. Only two PCR tests per week are required by the DFL. So far, the club had borne the cost of the tests.
According to manager Fredi Bobic, the vaccination rate in the team is quite high. “We have a vaccination rate of over 90 percent. And that without any kind of compulsion, but through conviction,” he explained image.
This puts Hertha above the league average. This should be around 82 percent. In Berlin, with a quota of over 90 percent, only a few players would be affected. The professional squad comprises 27 men, plus the coaching and supervisory staff, which comprises around a dozen people.
