Full-back Borna Sosa from VfB Stuttgart praises his new coach Bruno Labbadia in the highest tones. “For me, he’s the best coach I’ve ever had,” said the Croatian international in an interview sky: “He told us a lot of important things. I’ve already learned a lot from him. He was a top player and is a top coach.”
The relegation battle is “difficult. You have the feeling that every game is the most important one, and that’s how it is. We really want to stay in the league”. VfB have “a great team in terms of quality”, but: “It’s difficult for the head. We also have a lot of young players. It’s not easy: you’re always under pressure.”
With a view to the groundbreaking game on Saturday (6.30 p.m. / Sky) at bottom Schalke 04, he said: “They have now played 0-0 four times. It is difficult to win at Schalke. But our goal is 100 percent to get the three points. We trained to march there.”
