VfB Stuttgart: sports director Sven Mislintat apparently before the end

Sven Mislintat is probably on the verge of extinction at VfB Stuttgart. According to information from Sky sports a separation between the Swabians and the sports director is more and more likely. CEO Alexander Wehrle does not want to comment on this at the moment. VfB fans are fighting for Mislintat’s whereabouts with a petition.

“We will not issue any water level reports,” Wehrle said dpa: “We said that we want to get a picture of the situation together.”

After the trip to the USA, he wanted to let the team “arrive first” “and then we’ll see whether we’ll sit down together on Wednesday or Thursday”.

VfB Stuttgart fans have been fighting for Mislintat’s whereabouts for more than two months. On the basis of an open petition, which now has over 11,500 supporters, a website was launched on which the motives are explained in detail.

“We want to continue the path of the last few years with Sven Mislintat. We don’t want to go back to the old days,” it says: “We demand transparency and professionalism.” The repeated postponement of the negotiations is “a thorn in their side and we have clear expectations of the club, which is currently not living up to its claims at all”.
