VfL Bochum is in the middle of a relegation battle, so the coming days are crucial. Here at SPOX you can find out which games are coming up in relation to the remainder of the program in Bochum, what the opponents are called and information about the dates.
Two match days before the 2022/23 Bundesliga season ends, the question of who will be relegated is far from resolved. Several teams are fighting for survival in the Bundesliga. VfL Bochum is one of these shaky candidates.
In the past season it was much less close, but this year Bochum will have to put in extra effort in the next two weeks. As tables-15. you are only one point away from the relegation place, the distance to the first direct relegation place is only two points.
VfL Bochum: Remaining program in the Bundesliga – games, opponents, dates
For VfL, the encounter on matchday 33 with Hertha BSC, a competitor in the fight for relegation, will be particularly important. On the one hand, a win would seal Hertha’s relegation, and on the other hand, self-confidence against Hertha should be particularly high, since they were able to beat the capital city 3-1 at home in the first half of the season.
This time, however, things will get down to business in the Berlin Olympic Stadium, with the kick-off whistle sounding at 3.30 p.m.
In the following week, Bochum will continue with the derby against Bayer Leverkusen. The Werkself were beaten 2-0 in the first half of the season, so there’s a chance of revenge on Saturday 27 May.
