VfL Wolfsburg extends contract with Maxence Lacroix

Maria KeaneBundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg has prematurely extended the contract with central defender Maxence Lacroix (21) by one year until 2025.
The Frenchman has been in the defense headquarters since his move to Lower Saxony in 2020, in the summer he was courted by runner-up RB Leipzig, among others.
“Maxence made a great development last year. We are therefore delighted that we will continue to pursue our goals together,” said VfL sporting director Marcel Schäfer in a press release.
Lacroix has so far made 45 competitive appearances for the Champions League participant. So far this season, coach Mark van Bommel has relied on the defensive player in all competitive games from the start.
