Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg have signed Portuguese striker Tiago Tomas from Sporting Lisbon until 2027 as their fourth new signing. The 21-year-old has already gained Bundesliga experience as a player on loan at VfB Stuttgart over the past 18 months.
“Tiago is still at the beginning of his career, has great potential and can take the next step in his development in Wolfsburg,” said VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz.
The attacker scored eight goals in 47 appearances for the Swabians, while VfB decided not to buy Tomas.
Lower Saxony had previously signed central defender Moritz Jenz, Czech international Vaclav Cerny and Cedric Zesiger from Switzerland.
