Way to BVB free? Eintracht Frankfurt will probably withdraw the offer to Daichi Kamada

Daichi Kamada is about to say goodbye to Eintracht Frankfurt. How sports1 reported, the Bundesliga club has withdrawn its offer to the Japanese to extend the expiring contract.

A free transfer in the summer is the logical consequence, with BVB being the favorite for Kamada’s services.

The contract poker between the midfielder and those responsible in Frankfurt dragged on for months. Since there had recently been no more movement in the talks and Kamada was publicly flirting with leaving, SBU sports director Markus Krösche decided to withdraw the offer and clear the way for Kamada’s change.

This, so it reported Frankfurter Rundschau A few weeks ago, Borussia Dortmund is said to have already agreed in principle on a transfer for the coming season. However, the deal is not done yet. Kamada actually wants to go abroad, but there are no concrete offers from interested clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.

Kamada made his breakthrough in his home country at Sagan Tosu. In 2017, Eintracht Frankfurt signed him for 1.6 million euros. The attacking midfielder spent the 2018/19 season at VV St. Truiden, after which he advanced to become a top performer on the Main.

This season, Kamada made 35 competitive appearances for Eintracht, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists. At the World Cup in Qatar, the 26-year-old represented Japan’s national team in four matches.

The farewell to Kamada hits Frankfurt hard. However, top-class names are traded as potential newcomers for the attacking midfield. So the SBU should try to Lyons Houssem Aouar. Enzo Le Fee from FC Lorient is also mentioned.
