On February 27, 1900, eleven young men, led by Franz John, who later became the first FCB president, founded FC Bayern in Munich’s Cafe Gisela, laying the foundation for the extremely successful club history of the German record champions.

Today, 122 years later, FCB is the measure of all things in Germany. But the club has also been one of the absolute heavyweights internationally for years. During this time, the Munich team won 31 German championships, 20 DFB Cup victories, six Champions League titles (European national championship titles) and two club world championships.
