Will Florian Kohfeldt take over the coaching position from Pal Dardai?

Florian Kohfeldt could be loud Picture take over the coaching position at Bundesliga relegated Hertha BSC and replace Pal Dardai.

According to the report, the 40-year-old is highly valued by the US investor 777 Partners, who invested 100 million euros in Hertha. Kohfeldt was already a topic at Hertha last summer, after many years at Werder Bremen he last coached VfL Wolfsburg until May 2022.

Spicy: Kohfeldt is advised by Marc Kosicke, whom Lars Windhorst once wanted to make a member of the supervisory board. Nothing came of it due to DFL concerns about conflicts of interest, with Windhorst instead making Kosicke his football advisor. In the course of the sale of his Hertha shares to 777 Partners, Windhorst apparently received shares in this company.

Dardai, who took over Sandro Schwarz’s job at Hertha in mid-April, left his future open after the Berliners’ 1-1 draw against VfL Bochum last Saturday and the associated relegation.

“We’ll do an analysis, talk about a lot of things. I can’t say anything today. I’ll work at Hertha BSC afterwards too. We’ll have to see in what position,” said the 47-year-old Hungarian.
