Striker Fabian Klos from Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld is on the mend after suffering a serious head injury.
“The operations went well. Fabi will not have any permanent damage,” said Bielefeld’s sporting director Samir Arabi before the game at VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday (3:30 p.m.): “We will do everything we can to support him in his recovery.”
Klos, who will leave Arminia in the summer after eleven years, suffered a serious head injury in an unfortunate collision with his team-mate Alessandro Schöpf in the home game against VfB Stuttgart (1-1) on Saturday.
