FC Bayern, rumour: Zakaria apparently contacted by Bayern

Bayern Munich has apparently had concrete talks with Gladbach star Denis Zakaria’s side. That’s what she writes sports picture. A commitment from the 25-year-old should therefore be an issue above all if Corentin Tolisso should leave Bayern in the summer. After the strong performances of the Frenchman recently, both sides are probably again concerned with a possible extension of his contract, which expires in the summer.

According to the report, Zakaria could play a dual role as central defender and defensive midfielder at Bayern. After Niklas Süle will leave FCB in the summer, there will be a need, especially in defence.

In the current winter transfer window, however, a commitment by Zakarias seems unlikely. At the end of last year, Zakaria’s departure from Borussia Mönchenladbach was announced after almost five years at the club. The Swiss national player would be available for free in the summer.

Bavaria’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic contributed DAZN clear after the Hertha game: “We have a very, very good squad. We have a good squad that is strong. Nothing will happen there.”
