Christian Eriksen apparently agrees with Manchester United

The Danish national player Christian Eriksen is apparently facing an engagement with England’s record champions Manchester United.

Like the portal The Athletic reported on Monday that Eriksen had reached an oral agreement with the Red Devils. There is a three-year contract for the 30-year-old midfielder, who is currently without a club.

Eriksen had recently made his comeback at Premier League club Brentford FC after his heart stopped in Denmark’s first group match of the European Championship against Finland in Copenhagen on June 12 last year and he narrowly escaped death. A defibrillator was then put in. Since playing with one is banned in Italy, Eriksen could not continue his career at Inter Milan.

As a result, Brentford signed him last winter and gave Eriksen a six-month contract. In eleven league games, he scored one goal and provided four assists. Eriksen is no stranger to the island, however. He already played for Tottenham Hotspur from 2013 to 2020 and scored 51 goals in 226 league games.
