Maria KeaneOle Gunnar Solskjaer, Manchester United head coach, believes the discussions surrounding the advanced age of new signing Cristiano Ronaldo will add extra motivation to the 36-year-old.
“I am sure that he likes the talk that he is too old,” emphasized the 48-year-old Sky Sports: “He takes it personally! He will show what he can do.”
Solskjaer is looking forward to the Portuguese’s upcoming debut. “Hopefully Cristiano can come and show what he has achieved in his career,” said the coach: “We know that he is a more experienced player than last time.”
Ronaldo has “developed and had an incredible career.”
Ronaldo’s return to ManUnited is not yet definitively fixed, “paperwork” (Solskjaer) is still pending. “Hopefully we can do that and announce him,” said the Norwegian: “He’s a great player and person.”
Juventus receives a transfer fee of 15 million euros for CR7, which can be increased by a further eight million euros through bonuses.
