Cristiano Ronaldo mourns the loss of a newborn son

Cristiano Ronaldo and his wife Georgina Rodriguez have lost their newborn son. The Manchester United star made the stroke of fate public on Instagram.

His partner Georgina Rodriguez was pregnant with twins. The daughter was apparently born healthy.

“It is the greatest pain a parent can feel. Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness,” Ronaldo wrote.

“We want to thank the doctors and nurses for taking care of us with all their expertise and supporting us,” added the Portuguese.

At the same time, the 37-year-old asked for calm and to respect his privacy.

Ronaldo is the father of four other children, sons Cristiano Jr. and Mateo and daughters Eva and Alana
