Cristiano Ronaldo sends message to English player who is in a coma

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his support for Danny Hodgson. The Manchester United superstar sent a personal message to Hodgson, who is currently fighting for his life in Australia.

Hodgson was assaulted on September 4th at the local train station. The ECU Joondalup footballer from the National Premier Leagues Western Australia (2nd division) had previously celebrated the end of the season with his teammates. He has been in the Royal Perth Hospital since the attack and is currently in a coma. According to Sky UK his condition is critical but stable.

Hodgson turned 26 on Sunday. On his birthday, Ronaldo sent the Englishman a video message. In it the Portuguese said: “Hi Danny! I heard what happened to you. I hope you recover soon. I invite you to come to one of our games in Manchester. So get well quickly and take care of yourself. “

Ronaldo’s teammate Dean Henderson also sent Hodgson a message. Manchester City and other clubs from the United Kingdom have also sent well-being wishes to Australia.
