Accordingly, the Gunners have failed with two offers to West Ham United and now want to start a third attempt after City’s advance. However, both teams are still a long way from the Hammers’ transfer fee. The Londoners are probably calling for around 116 million euros for the 24-year-old.
Rice grew up growing up at Chelsea FC and joined West Ham’s academy when he was 14. Since then, the central midfielder has been on the field for the Europa Conference League winner. His contract runs until 2024, this summer, alongside City and Arsenal, FC Bayern was also considered interested for a long time.
The 43-time England international has been a regular at West Ham and made 50 appearances, five goals and four assists last season.
