Erling Haaland is apparently waving a new mega contract

Manchester City is apparently presenting its superstar Erling Haaland with a new mega contract. The English newspaper reports The Sun.

Haaland has been scoring like an assembly line since moving to Etihad Stadium and, with his contract running until 2027, is already one of the best-paid players in the Premier League. According to the report, the Skyblues want to extend the working paper by another year and increase his weekly salary to 570,000 euros. It is unclear whether the contract still includes his alleged release clause of 240 million euros.

The 22-year-old made the leap to professional status at Molde FK. The Norwegian landed at Borussia Dortmund in January 2020 for 20 million euros via the intermediate station RB Salzburg. Last summer Haaland moved to Manchester for 60 million euros.

Haaland has not only shot up the Premier League since arriving at City. In 37 competitive games, the striker has already scored 42 goals and set up five goals.
