Erling Haaland signs new kit deal with Nike

Most recently he wore shoes from different brands, now Erling Haaland is again committed to a supplier.

Manchester City’s star striker Erling Haaland has signed a new kit deal with Nike. The US sporting goods manufacturer and Haaland officially announced this on Friday afternoon.

Haaland had already been under contract with Nike until January 2022. Since his departure back then, he has alternately played in football shoes from Puma, adidas and Nike. Now the Norwegian has committed to the latter brand again.

And the new deal is probably very lucrative financially for Haaland. A report by The Athletic According to the report, the 22-year-old will collect around 22 million euros from Nike each year.

In his first season for City, Haaland currently has 42 goals in 37 competitive appearances. The Skyblues meet Liverpool in the Premier League top game on Saturday, and then in mid-April the two Champions League quarter-finals against Bayern Munich are due.

By then at the latest, Haaland wants to be fully fit again. Most recently, he had to give up playing for the Norwegian national team in the European Championship qualifier because of adductor problems.
