Transfer from Kai Havertz to Arsenal is apparently imminent

The sun is shining, Kai Havertz is smiling under the palm trees – but something is wrong. Exactly: The German national player is already wearing the jersey of his new club FC Arsenal in the two-minute and 20-second video – the transfer from Chelsea FC to there has not yet been officially announced.

However, the clip has now surfaced online – a glitch just ahead of the expected £65million (€75million) deal confirmation. “It’s super exciting for me personally. I’m so happy to switch to this wonderful club,” Havertz enthuses in the first interview for his new club.

“This club has such a great history and I hope we can achieve many things,” he added. The Gunners have a “family mentality” that makes them difficult to play against.

Havertz (24), which also becomes clear in the video, will also get his traditional shirt number 29 at Arsenal. “I love wearing it in a red jersey again,” said the former Leverkusen player.
