“He’s not in a good mood!” Shakhtar sporting director Darijo Srna gives his thoughts on Mykhailo Mudryk

Shakhtar sporting director Darijo Srna has opened up about the mood and potential return of his former player Mykhailo Mudryk.

“Mykhailo is not in a good mood at Chelsea at the moment,” Srna explains football Ramblebut adds: “He has all the qualities to be one of the best players in the Premier League for years to come.”

Regarding a possible return of the Ukrainian, Srna said with a wink: “It’s not a problem, we will buy him back after the war.”

Mudryk was long considered a surefire signing from Arsenal in the winter transfer window until Chelsea intervened. “Arsenal were absolutely in love with Mudryk but Chelsea showed that they are more concrete and ready to buy him. Ultimately it was Mykhailo’s decision,” said Srna.

The 22-year-old has appeared in five competitive games for Chelsea so far, but he has yet to score a goal.
