“I spend more time with Son than with my wife”

Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son are considered the best attacking duo in history at Tottenham Hotspur. They get along so well that Kane now sees Son more often than his wife.

It’s a stroke of luck that Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son will be scoring goals together at Tottenham Hotspur. In the meantime, this season they have already scored 40 goals in which they were involved. The record so far was held by Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard, who made a great duo at Chelsea for years.

They also broke the Premier League record for joint goal contributions in one season long ago. They have 14 goals this season. The previous record came from Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton with 13 goals in the 1994/95 season.

Harry Kane spoke about the particularly good relationship with his strike partner after Spurs’ 4-0 win against Aston Villa on the French channel Canal+.

Asked if his wife is jealous of his relationship with his fellow striker, Kane replied: “Maybe. She hasn’t said anything but I’m sure she could be. To be honest, I’m probably spending more time at the moment with Son than with my wife. But yeah, we have a great relationship off the pitch and I think it shows on the pitch.”
