After the Nerazzurri withdrew from poker around Romelu Lukaku, a gunner should now strengthen the storm.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported at the weekend that Inter Milan are about to make initial contact with Arsenal to explore a transfer for striker Folarin Balogun (22). Now report Sky Sportsthat the Gunners demand the equivalent of around 58 million euros.
According to reports, Inter actually wanted to sign the previous loan striker Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea) again. But in the previous week they finally withdrew from this poker. Since two top strikers, Lukaku and Edin Dzeko, have left Milan, there is now a need for the front line alongside Lautaro Martínez. This is where Balogun comes in, who only has a contract with the Gunners until 2025.
Balogun comes from Arsenal youth and was loaned to Middlesbrough in January 2022. After his return last summer, he was loaned out to Stade Reims for a year, where he impressed.
The US international played 37 games for Reims, scoring 21 goals (three assists). He’s considered a huge talent but doesn’t appear to feature in Arsenal’s plans.
