João Félix could apparently be left out of Chelsea’s 25-man squad for the upcoming Champions League games. That reports the Spanish AS.
According to the report, Félix is one of the shaky candidates for Chelsea’s Champions League squad nomination. Other prominent signings like Enzo Fernández and Mykhaylo Mudryk could be preferred to the Portuguese and make the jump into the squad instead.
For Félix it would be the next blow at his new club after his failed debut for the Blues. The striker made his debut appearance for the Londoners three weeks ago, but was sent off after 59 minutes.
Félix has been loaned to Chelsea by Atlético Madrid until next summer. The 23-year-old still has a contract with the Madrilenians until 2027.
