Cody Gakpo is going viral on social media with heartwarming action. The Dutchman can be seen in a video in Togo distributing food to dozens of children.

The Dutch international was born in Eindhoven, but his father is from Togo. In the Video You can see the 24-year-old handing out rice dishes to children in a Togolese village.

The campaign was very well received on social media and garnered a lot of recognition. A fan of Gakpo’s ex-club PSV Eindhoven wrote: “Big player, big heart!”

After the World Cup in Qatar, the attacking star switched from his hometown club PSV Eindhoven to Liverpool FC for 42 million euros.

Gakpo is still struggling on the island, with the 16-time Dutch international scoring seven goals and three assists in 26 games for the Reds.
