Liverpool loses to Bournemouth at the bottom of the table

The race to catch up was initially stopped: Jürgen Klopp suffered a setback in the fight for the Champions League ranks with Liverpool FC. Six days after the historic derby victory against Manchester United (7-0), the Reds lost 0-1 (0-1) at the previous bottom of the table AFC Bournemouth on matchday 26 of the English Premier League.
With his sixth goal of the season, Philip Billing scored the goal of the afternoon for the hosts (28th), who improved from 20th to 16th place. Liverpool could not convert their numerous good opportunities into a goal, star striker Mohamed Salah miserably put a hand penalty next to the goal (69th).
After the last five league games without defeat and without conceding a goal, Liverpool remains in fifth place for the time being, three points behind table neighbor Tottenham Hotspur.
