Manchester United is apparently preparing a mega offer for alleged Bayer transfer target Mason Mount

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a bid for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount. A report of Daily Mail according to the Red Devils want to put around 63 million euros on the table for Mount.

Mount is said to have done United coach Erik ten Hag very much. The Dutchman would therefore like to bag a commitment from the 24-year-old as soon as possible.

Mount’s contract with Chelsea expires in 2024, but the Blues’ transfer fee is apparently extremely high. Chelsea are said to have a price of almost 98 million euros in mind for the England international. So United would have to improve their offer considerably.

In addition to the Red Devils, Liverpool FC and Arsenal FC are also considered to be very interested in Mount. FC Bayern Munich has also been associated with him.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic reported, however, United’s interest is said to be mutual. Accordingly, in the event of a departure, Mount would tend to move to Manchester.

Mount comes from Chelsea’s offspring and became an integral part of the first team after two loan deals for the 2019/20 season.

He has played 35 competitive games for the Londoners so far this season. He scored three goals and six assists.
