Loaned by FC Bayern Munich at Manchester United, Marcel Sabitzer can imagine staying with the Red Devils longer than the end of this season. The Austrian said that Mirror.
“It’s on loan at the moment. We’ll see what happens in the summer,” said the 28-year-old midfielder. “I like it here, I feel very comfortable here, I like the team, I like the club, the atmosphere at Old Trafford,” Sabitzer continued.
Sabitzer was loaned out by FC Bayern at Manchester United on Deadline Day until the end of the season. He has performed well with the Red Devils so far, having been in United coach Erik ten Hag’s starting XI in two of his three previous appearances.
“I like it so far. The team has welcomed me very well,” he explained. He seems enthusiastic about ten Hag: “He talks to me a lot and says what he expects from me. I try to fulfill that. I feel comfortable with him and his tactics.”
If the suspended Casemiro returns, Sabitzer may have to make do with less playing time. His contract with FC Bayern runs until 2025. FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann usually only substituted him on in the first half of the season.
