Mount apparently in the focus of Liverpool and Juventus

Liverpool FC and Juventus Turin are a report by Guardians according to Mason Mount and are closely following the contract talks between the England international and Chelsea.

Accordingly, it does not currently appear that Mount will agree on a new working paper with the Blues in the near future, which is why the two top clubs are now calculating opportunities. The playmaker was also recently associated with Manchester City.

The 23-year-old only has 18 months left on his contract with the Londoners. The two parties have therefore been in talks about extending the contract since the summer. However, Chelsea’s initial offers fell short of the player’s expectations, according to the report.

It goes on to say that Chelsea owners have no interest in losing Mount, who has spent his entire career at Stamford Bridge. According to reports, one is optimistic that the negotiations would lead to a positive result. Mount is currently one of the lowest paid players in the Blues roster and wants a new contract that reflects his status as one of Graham Potter’s most important players.

Should the player and club still not be able to agree on a new contract after the World Cup, the chances of a transfer for Liverpool and Juve should increase. However, with the Blues apparently not interested in letting Mount go, it is more likely that he will sign a long-term deal soon.
