Newcastle United continue to be aggressive in the transfer market and are said to have offered an astronomical sum for a Napoli player.
Newcastle United are still looking for reinforcements and appear to have put out feelers to Napoli. According to a report by the Saudi portal WinWinAllSports the Magpies are said to be eyeing Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (22). There is talk of an offer of 95 million euros.
Just a few days ago, Newcastle poached in Serie A, securing the services of Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali for €64m.
Now it should be the Georgian, who only switched to Napoli last year for 11.5 million euros. Newcastle have been in Saudi hands for some time, giving them huge financial opportunities.
The Corriere dello Sport picked up the report and reported that Napoli President Aurelio de Laurentiis had not yet responded to the offer. However, he is not ready to give up Kvaratskhelia anyway, after all, his contract runs until 2027.
Kvaratskhelia has made 34 appearances in Serie A, scoring 12 goals and serving 13 more. In the Champions League he had two goals and four assists in nine games.
