Maria KeaneThe English first division soccer club Norwich City has put a lot of trust in its German team manager Daniel Farke. The 44-year-old signed a four-year contract with the newcomer from the east of England until 2025.
Farke has led Norwich to the second division championship for the second time and thus back to the Premier League. He is going into his fifth season as head coach for the Canaries in 2021/22. “My blood is already pretty yellow,” said Farke in a message based on the club’s colors: “I’m absolutely overjoyed and feel pretty emotional.”
Now it is his concern to “take the next step and do everything possible to make this club an established Premier League club”. After the rise in 2019, Norwich was relegated bottom of the table with only 21 points. In the past season, Farke and Co. had already made the rise again in mid-April.
