Pep Guardiola is set to leave Manchester City after the 2024/25 season. This is from reports ESPN and the Guardians out.
The Spanish coach’s contract with the Skyblues runs until the end of the 2024/25 season, according to reports Guardiola is not inclined to extend his working paper again. Accordingly, those responsible for the city do not want to let their superstar coach go without a fight after the long-awaited success in the premier class.
According to ESPN’s report, Guardiola could be considering a job as national team coach after his engagement in Manchester. The Brazilian and US federations have tried to hire the 52-year-old in the past.
Guardiola started his coaching career at FC Barcelona and coached the Catalans’ professional team from 2008 to 2012. After two titles in the Champions League and several Spanish championships and cup wins, Guardiola succeeded triple coach Jupp Heynckes at Bayern Munich in 2013. After three successful years on the national stage, but without the big hit in the premier class, Guardiola moved to Manchester City, where he has been head coach since 2016.
