Premier League – After Europa League exit: Arsenal beat Crystal Palace

Leaders FC Arsenal have won again in the Premier League and have extended their lead for the time being. Team manager Mikel Arteta’s team defeated the ailing Crystal Palace 4-1 (2-0) three days after being eliminated in the round of 16 of the Europa League.

For the Primus it was the sixth win in a row in the league, Palace is still waiting for a win in 2023.

Gabriel Martinelli (28th), who missed the decisive penalty in the loss against Sporting Lisbon on Thursday (4:5 penalties), gave the Gunners the lead.
