Thanks for a strange hit! Arsenal ends dry spell

Arsenal ended their dry spell in the English Premier League and took the lead again with their first win in four weeks.

The Londoners prevailed 4-2 (1-2) at Aston Villa on Saturday with a double strike in added time.

Defending champions Manchester City could return to first place later in the afternoon (4 p.m. in the live ticker) with a three at Nottingham Forest. The Skyblues took the lead from the Gunners last Wednesday with a 3-1 win in the top game. Click here for the live ticker of Chelsea FC vs. Southampton FC.

Arsenal twice fell behind with goals from Ollie Watkins (6th) and Coutinho (32nd). Bukayo Saka (16′) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (61′) each equalized before an unfortunate own goal from Villa’s world champion keeper Emiliano Martínez (90’+3), who bounced the ball off the crossbar to the back of his head, and a goal from Gabriel Martinelli (90 + 8) turned the game completely.
