Kai Havertz’s transfer to Arsenal is apparently about to be completed. That reports The Athletic.
Accordingly, the Gunners had reached an agreement with Chelsea about a change of the German international striker. Arsenal will pay the Blues a transfer fee of almost 76 million euros as compensation.
Both clubs would only negotiate the exact structure of the transfer, including possible installments and additional services. There is apparently already an agreement between Arsenal and Havertz, and an initial medical examination is also being planned.
Havertz switched from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Chelsea in the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee of 80 million euros. In three years he made 139 appearances for the London club, scoring 32 goals and providing 15 assists.
He also won the Champions League with the Blues in 2021, the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Supercup in 2022.
