Will Manchester United loan Cristiano Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo definitely wants to play in the Champions League next season, Manchester United absolutely wants to keep the 37-year-old, although the club is only allowed to play in the Europa League: now a loan could allegedly be the solution for both parties.

As the Mirror reported, the Portuguese should be awarded for one year. For this, the multiple world footballer would have to exercise his option to extend his contract until 2024 and could then be awarded until 2023. This would give the Red Devils the chance to qualify for the premier class in the coming season, which is so important for CR7.

The hottest candidate for CR7 is apparently still Atletico Madrid. In order to meet the superstar’s salary, Atletico would probably be willing to let Antoine Griezmann go.

Since returning to Old Trafford, Ronaldo has made 38 appearances and scored 24 goals.
