Although SV Elversberg has maintained the lead in the 3rd football league, it is still in a crisis of results. In the home game against Halleschen FC on Sunday, the Saarlanders did not get better than 1: 1 (1: 0) and have 60 points on their account.
It was the fifth straight game without a win for the leaders. Luca Schnellbacher (42′) scored the opening goal, Dominik Steczyk (51′) equalized for Halle. The lead over pursuer SC Freiburg II, which cannot move up, is two points. The Breisgauer had played 1: 1 (1: 1) at VfL Osnabrück on Saturday.
In the chasing duel, SV Wehen Wiesbaden won 3-0 (0-0) against Waldhof Mannheim on Saturday. However, the Hessians are already ten points behind Elversberg in third place. 1. FC Saarbrücken won 3-0 (2-0) against Rot-Weiss Essen.
1860 Munich celebrated their first win after eight unsuccessful attempts with a 3-1 (2-0) win at second division relegated Erzgebirge Aue.
MSV Duisburg and SC Verl separated 3:3 (2:2). In the promotion and basement duel, SpVgg Bayreuth lost 1:2 (0:1) to VfB Oldenburg.
