1. FC Kaiserslautern has taken another step towards returning to the 2nd Bundesliga. The Red Devils won 5-0 (1-0) against MSV Duisburg on the 32nd match day of the 3rd division and secured second place with 57 points behind the undisputed leader 1. FC Magdeburg (63).
Terrence Boyd (37th/48th/73rd) with his 11th, 12th and 13th goal of the season as well as Marlon Ritter (59th) and Alexander Winkler (69th) scored for the Palatinate in the Fritz Walter Stadium. Kolja Pusch (86th) was responsible for the goal of honor for the zebras.
The third-placed team from Eintracht Braunschweig struggled in the Lower Saxony duel against promoted and relegation candidate TSV Havelse to a 3: 2 (1: 1) and even benefited from two own goals.
