Third division club FSV Zwickau, which is in danger of being relegated, has parted ways with head coach Joe Enochs and sports director Toni Wachsmuth with immediate effect. The Saxons announced this on Monday.
The FSV did not get beyond a 1-1 draw against bottom team SV Meppen on Saturday and is in the first relegation zone with 20 points after 21 games.
“After two winless home games against direct competitors at the beginning of the year and due to a stagnant further development of our team, we see our goal for the season of staying in the league in acute danger. That’s why we decided to give the team new impetus,” said managing director Marvin Klotzkowsky.
Enochs came to Zwickau in 2018, initially assistant coach Robin Lenk will take over the team on an interim basis.
