Kaiserslautern jumps to third place with victory in Munich

1. FC Kaiserslautern is targeting the promotion ranks in the third division. The Red Devils won 2-1 (2-0) at Türkgücü Munich on Friday evening and climbed to third place after the fourth game in a row without defeat.

Daniel Hanslik (5th) and Hikmet Ciftci (7th) provided with a double strike early on for a calming leadership of the guests. Petar Sliskovic (55th) shortened for Munich, who have been without a win for seven games and have come dangerously close to the relegation places.

“We got off to a great start, but we have to add the third goal before half-time,” said Lautern’s assistant coach Frank Döpper, who was on the sidelines for the yellow-banned Marco Antwerp at MagentaTV. “Türkgücü then tried long balls in the hope that someone would slip through.”
