Mannheim misses fourth win in a row

The former Bundesliga club Waldhof Mannheim has suffered a small setback in the promotion race of the 3rd division.
After three wins in a row against SC Verl on Monday evening, the team coached by Christian Neidhart was only able to draw 1-1 (1-1) and thus missed out on fourth place in the table.
The deficit of Mannheim on relegation place three is three points. Former Bayern professional Oliver Batista Meier put the guests ahead after just twelve minutes, and Waldhof equalized through Dominik Martinovic (43′).
After the break, the hosts got stronger and stronger, but ultimately unsuccessfully pushed for victory. Verl stays eleventh.
