Maria KeaneTSG Hoffenheim has brought Chris Richards back. The Kraichgauer loan the defender again from the German record champions Bayern Munich, the 21-year-old American had already played for Hoffenheim last season.
“Chris helped us in the last half-series as a strong and fast defender without starting difficulties,” said Alexander Rosen, Director of Professional Football at TSG.
According to the club, Richards is coming because of the “still uncertain return of the long-term injured defenders Benjamin Hübner and Ermin Bicakcic”.
The US international had trained with Bayern in the U23 under today’s TSG head coach Sebastian Hoeneß. In the current season he was substituted on once in the Bundesliga and once in the DFB-Pokal.
