Imke Wübbenhorst is the new assistant trainer at Viktoria Köln

Imke Wübbenhorst becomes assistant trainer at the ambitious third division soccer club Viktoria Köln. The club announced on Monday that the first coach of a men’s team in the Oberliga (BV Cloppenburg, 2018/19) should be responsible for the analysis department as Olaf Janßen’s assistant.

Wübbenhorst (32), who coached fourth division Sportfreunde Lotte in 2020, holds the UEFA Pro license. “I had a very good feeling from the first few talks because it was a lot about football,” she said.

Head coach said: “She is an asset to our coaching team – already through her training as a football teacher – so the highest qualification one can have in this area.”
